The Ministry of Energy hereby informs that the ‘Sri Lanka Electricity (Amendment) Bill’ has been published in the Government Gazette dated 16th May 2025, as per the approval given by the Cabinet of Ministers, having considered the memorandum submitted by the Minister of Energy entitled ‘Amendments to the Sri Lanka Electricity Act, No. 36 of 2024’.
