On a request made by the then Ministry of Petroleum Resources Development KOICA head office in South Korea in collaboration with KOGAS (Korea Gas Corporation) is organizing a capacity building training program on Natural Gas / LNG operation as a three-year program link with their technical and financial assistance.

The first program on the same was held in 2018 and the second program on the same is now ongoing from 13th October to 26th October 2019 in South Korea. All together 15 officials representing the Ministry, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Petroleum Resources Development Secretariat, Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka have attended the training.
