Speaking at the meeting, the Minister stated that maintaining the state ownership of the power sector will be the government policy and that no reduction or removal of employee rights will be done as part of this restructuring programme.<\/p>\n<p>The trade union representatives highly admired the government\u2019s policy to keep the state ownership of the power sector, and appreciated the opportunity they have been given to share their opinions and suggestions. They also commended both the government and the Minister for paying attention to ensuring the rights and privileges of the employees, and also expressed their willingness to contribute their best to the advancement of the power sector.
