Public views and suggestions were invited on the Draft National Electricity Policy of Sri Lanka, issued by the Ministry of Energy on 19.12.2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The time period for responding to the Draft National Electricity Policy has been extended up to 14.01.2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

All individuals and institutions who have already submitted written observations to the Committee may request a discussion with the Committee if needed by forwarding a further written request to the address given below.<\/p>\n

Following the completion of the consultation process, the finalized draft of the National Electricity Policy will be published for further comments.<\/p>\n
