Public views and suggestions were invited on the Draft National Electricity Policy of Sri Lanka, issued by the Ministry of Energy on 19.12.2025.
The time period for responding to the Draft National Electricity Policy has been extended up to 14.01.2026.
All individuals and institutions who have already submitted written observations to the Committee may request a discussion with the Committee if needed by forwarding a further written request to the address given below.
Following the completion of the consultation process, the finalized draft of the National Electricity Policy will be published for further comments.
